Biblephobia – A Fear of the Truth

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.  2Timothy 4:3-4

This edgy T-shirt design has a subtle bite to it. It is a tongue-in-cheek response to those who believe that anyone who speaks against homosexuality is by default homophobic. This message also challenges those men and women who attempt to sensor or silence Christian doctrine simply because they fear the truth. They suffer from Bible•phobia.

I used to be afraid of the truth. I did not want to hear anything that I felt was going to interfere with my carefree and selfish lifestyle. I would avoid listening or watching anything that might cause me to have a guilty conscience. Now I am no longer afraid. I embrace the truth, especially if it shows me where I am wrong and how I can improve.
