I Prefer Natural Relationships
Some “people” say same sex relationships are OK, other “people” say they are not. So we have “some” people arguing against “other” people.
God tells His children to avoid foolish arguments and controversies about the law (Titus 3:9). He says they are unprofitable and useless. God also says to trust Him and not lean on our own understanding. That said, don’t kill the messenger. I’m simply trusting the Word of God.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Romans 1:24-27
I shared this passage with one of my cousins during a late night phone conversation. She was speechless for about 15 minutes. She said she had no idea the Bible addressed this issue so directly.
This passage of scripture confirms that we are not dealing with a case of gender confusion in our society, but blatant rebellion against the natural principles which God established.
Certain men and women have willfully decided to exchange the truth of God for the devil’s lie, and exchange natural sexual relations for the unnatural.
Don’t be deceived, God did not make or create anyone gay or homosexual. Everything God created was not only good, but very good. Everything that God created was completed on the sixth day (Genesis 1:31), and homosexuality was not in the picture. All of our immoral sexual tendencies and attractions, including same sex desires that tempt us are a direct result of the fall. That is why we must all be born again.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy. Proverbs 27:6
A true friend will tell you the truth no matter how much it hurts. Trust the Word of God, my friend.
